Brantley County Board of Education Budget Hearings

In compliance with GA Code 20-2-167.1, the Brantley County Board of Education will hold two public meetings for the purpose of providing an opportunity for input on its proposed annual operating budget. These meetings will occur on Monday, June 10, 2024 at 6:00 pm and Monday, June 24, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Upon approval, the FY25 tentative budget will be published on the Brantley County School District Website for public review along with the current FY24 approved budget (from the home page under “News and Announcements” select “Helpful Links for Stakeholders” and click “Budget/Finance Documents”). The FY25 budget will be considered for adoption by the Board on June 24, 2024, at the culmination of the budget meeting. All meetings will take place at the Brantley County Board of Education, 272 School Circle, Nahunta, GA 31553.

Procedures for Review of Materials/Records:  A legal guardian may review records/instructional materials, as defined by the state board, relating to his or her minor child by contacting the school principal and requesting to see the materials.  A mutually agreeable time for parent record review will be scheduled during regular business hours.
